I compared notes of my earlier review and on the nose, the overall notes are lighter and less pronounced. But the sherry notes are definitely more forward. The slight funk also doesn't appear here! So there are noticeable differences just from nosing.
On the palette, something interesting happened. Woody notes come out where it didn't use to. The sherry flavors are also more intense. The finish also seems longer.
I must admit this is a rather interesting finding and it does go to show what the wine folks have been saying from long ago, the glass you drink from does more than hold the liquid within!
